What is Sekg?
Sekg (Sensing Emotions and Knowledge Group) is a tech startup based in Barcelona. A team of great people with different backgrounds (engineers, marketing experts, UX designers and game developers) are behind this project.
How do I use Antidote?
We have developed an online, cloud-based platform, to help developers directly handle their projects from their offices. Registering on the platform is easy as pie, simply use the following link: sekg.net/signup
What is Antidote?
Antidote is a UX and analytics service helping game studios to implement game testing in their development processes. We accompany developers from the very first prototype until the game is published and beyond. We work together to create great user experiences and reach success.
What platforms do you work with?
PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
Playtesting on console can also be done, but this is a little bit more specific, thus we would recommend to discuss it with us beforehand.
What is the cost of the platform?
Different options are available when creating your account. Several pricing models are available according to your budget and your needs. You can check them all here: www.sekg.net/pricing.
I want to playtest my game on your platform. How do I do it?
Register now going to www.sekg.net/signup. Once your account is created and validated, you can publish your playtesting project right away.
Do you have a demo to show me?
Sure! Ask us for a demo account via email or our online chat. You can also schedule a meeting with one of our representatives to walk you through Antidote.
How do I send you my game?
You can submit the game directly on our platform or use your own distribution system, inserting a download link when creating your project. In case it includes access to a private beta, we will provide you with the emails of the selected testers.
Who will be testing my project?
The players you select. During the creation process of your playtest, you will be able to indicate your targeted players (gender, age, gamer profile, games played, etc). According to the project specifications, the platform will automatically select the group of testers that match the requirements you define.
Can I invite my own players on your platform?
Sure! In addition to our testers, you can include your own audience if you wish to perform playtesting with your existing group of players. Simply check the “Invite Players” option when you’re creating your project.
Where do players come from?
Most of the players are based in Europe (Spain, France, UK, …) or North-America (USA & Canada) but also from many other regions. Testers are usually invited to play from home. Players can also be invited to our gamelabs in Barcelona when the playtest requires advanced configurations or complex scenarios.
Can I ask the testers to play a specific level, and not start from the beginning of the game?
Of course! We highly recommend to perform playtesting on various levels in order to aim at what’s good in the game or, on the other hand, what is to be improved.
How are the surveys elaborated?
A range of standard questions have been elaborated by our UX experts and are automatically assigned to all the published projects.
Because each project is unique, you can also create specific questions along with game developers in order to aim at the true needs of the game.
What type of questions are available?
You can create surveys with many types of questions. These include opinion scales, open questions, yes/no, single and multiple choice but also sections to help you organize your questions. Our platform presents the answers in a beautiful way so you can get fast insights at a glance.
Do you have a limited number of questions?
The number of questions is unlimited. However we would recommend to not go further than 20-30 questions per project.
Do I have access to the user’s gameplay and face recording?
Depending of the rights of your account, this option will be available or not. But this is definitely something possible.
What is biometric playtesting?
In some cases, Sekg uses biometric systems recording heart rate and skin conductance in order to determine key data during gameplay such as the level of stress or boredom of the user.
Biometric playtesting can be performed at our offices or directly by the testers from home. You can contact us if you would like more information about what kind of wearable we use.

What kind of confidentiality agreement do you have with the testers?
Each player signs a non-disclosure agreement when joining us. Every profile on the platform is fully verified through several steps including a phone call to verify each player is real and the given information is correct.
Can I test Trailers and Cinematics?
